Let’s make a classic cowboy hat with a tombstone crease! You know, when we first started making the coffin crease otherwise known as the tombstone crease I was struggling to see how I could make this hat look classic . But then I realized if you didn’t add the mule kick into the front, it really resembles a classic RCA shape. And personally that’s one of my favorite shapes. It’s that Burt Reynolds style. So we did this one nice and clean with a classic three ply ribbon going around it! Just wann

Coffin crease classic cowboy hat made step by step! Can crazy hat shapes also have a classic hat vibe? I think in a world of eccentric fashion a little bit of wild on the crown of a hat doesn’t necessarily make it outrageous. Hats have been folded and shaped in a ton of different styles over the years. #mensstyle #fashion #style #highfashion #luxuryfashion

The double coffin crease aka the gravedigger as we call it has got to be the hardest shape to make. It’s a coffin version of a Roy rogers style hat. I’m sure there’s a hat maker out there that thinks this is easy so more power to ya but my hands were burning getting those creases in! But the result was worth. Alfred also went with a doc Holliday style brim and rolled leather band. With the shape being so crazy we decided to keep it pretty mellow and clean on the band and brim. That’s the beauty
